Curacao

The flag of Curaçao was adopted on July 2, 1984. The flag is made up of a blue field with a yellow strip just below the middle of the flag and two white stars in the canton. The blue colour of the flag represents the sea and the sky and the yellow stands for the sun that bathes the island.  The two stars represent Curacao and Klein Curaçao the two islands that make up Curacao but are also said to represent love and happiness.
