Wyoming

The Wyoming flag was adopted on January 31, 1917.  The flag contains a silhouette of an American Bison in white with the state seal on its ribs.  The Bison is on a blue field with a red and white border.

WyomingWyoming became the 44th state in 1890. Wyoming’s state quarter features the state nickname: “The Equality State,” and the outline of a cowboy and bucking bronco (Wyoming officially adopted this emblem as a symbol of the state, and rodeo is also the state sport).
